Tandem worked with Fellow Robots, a Silicon Valley start-up formed by a group of engineers from NASA’s Singularity University on the iconic design of the tele-presence robot. The robot is controlled remotely by the person offsite and allows them to move in the space and feel as if they are actually present in the meeting. They can direct their attention to specific people, charts or presentations and react accordingly. It makes communication more effective and closes the distance between the two offices. The soft form of the robot makes it unobtrusive and friendly to interact with, while also maintaining a look of quality and sophistication.
